The Secret World is upon us.
Its PAX this weekend, and in preparation for the big announcement Funcom has released the three secret societies that will be the cornerstone of its new game: The Templars, Illuminati and the Dragon. Fans can visit the official Secret World site and take a test that shows them which society they are best suited to. Doing this test will give them a chance to win future beta access, and FunCom will also keep them up to date with any further development news on the game.
"The secret societies are integral to ‘The Secret World‘," says producer and director Ragnar Tørnquist. "Players must eventually pick a side in the conflict. By revealing the three societies - and at the same time keeping some exciting new features under wraps - we provide players with the opportunity to dig deeper into the conspiracies and urban legends, and to learn more about these famous secret societies, before making their final decision when the game launches."
In addition the next trailer for the Secret World has been released featuring our heroine with the shotgun. I know, I for one never liked those ravens. They always look at me like they are just waiting for the oportunity to eat my eyes.

More information is expected to be shown at PAX, which takes place this weekend. Visit the official Secret World site to take the test to when yourself a nice game bonus. What kind of bonuses? Wallpapers, icons, a chance to get into beta, subscription to game updates, and oh, yeah, an exclusive in game item when the game launches. In other words, go take that test now - just in case.
Of course, you better turn out to be a member of the templars. Or I might have to kill you and send your remains to enemy guilds.
